Wir m\u00f6chten Dir deshalb an dieser Stelle eine vollst\u00e4ndige \u00dcbersicht \u00fcber alle Artikulationen geben, die in Shredolution enthalten sind.<\/p>\n<p>Als potentieller User bekommst Du so eine detailierte \u00dcbersicht, was in der Library enthalten ist und wie aufwendig und umfangreich die E-Gitarre gesampelt wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Zum einfacheren Verst\u00e4ndnis hier eine kurze Zusammenfassung, was die einzelnen Begriffe bedeuten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>&#8220;Articulation&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>Damit werden die unterschiedlichen M\u00f6glichkeiten bezeichnet, auf einem Instrument einen Ton zu erzeugen. Auf die E-Gitarre \u00fcbertragen w\u00e4ren das zum Beispiel Sustain Noten (offen gespielt und ausklingend), Palm Muted (ged\u00e4mpft gespielt), Hammer Ons \/ Pull Offs (mit der rechten Hand geh\u00e4mmerte oder durch schnelles wegziehen des Fingers erzeugte Noten) oder Harmonics (Obert\u00f6ne).<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>&#8220;Velocity Layer&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>Damit werden die unterschiedlichen Anschlagsst\u00e4rken bezeichnet, die w\u00e4hrend des Recording-Prozesses aufgenommen wurden, d.h. die unterschiedlichen Dynamik-Stufen zwischen leisen und lauten T\u00f6nen.<\/p>\n<p>Bei den meisten Instrumenten \u00e4ndert sich das Timbre bzw. der Klangcharakter je nach Anschlagsst\u00e4rke deutlich, daher ist es wichtig, dass die richtigen Stufen im Sampling-Prozess gew\u00e4hlt wurden und ausreichend Stufen vorhanden sind, um ein m\u00f6glich breites Dynamikspektrum realistisch wiederzugeben zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Gl\u00fccklicherweise ist die E-Gitarre ein Instrument, bei dem sich das Timbre, das durch die Anschlagsst\u00e4rke bestimmt wird, nach bestimmten physikalischen Regeln \u00e4ndert, die es erlauben, Zwischenstufen nachzubilden und mit weniger unterschiedlich aufgenommenen Anschlagsst\u00e4rken auszukommen, als es z.B. bei einer Snaredrum der Fall w\u00e4re.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>&#8220;Takes \/ Takes Downstroke \/ Takes Upstroke&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>Damit werden die unterschiedlichen Takes beschrieben, die pro &#8220;Articulation&#8221; und pro &#8220;Velocity Layer&#8221; aufgenommen wurden &#8211; und zwar jeweils f\u00fcr einen Downstroke und einen Upstroke (also die Saite von oben bzw. unten angeschlagen).<\/p>\n<p>Mehr Takes bedeutet im Allgemeinen, dass der gef\u00fcrchtete Maschinengewehr-Effekt ausbleibt, wenn der gleiche Ton mehrmals hintereinander gespielt wird, was zu deutlich mehr Realismus f\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Schwierigkeit und die hohe Kunst im Sampling ist es, Variation aufzunehmen, die dann aber letztendlich nicht als solche wahrgenommen wird. Das hei\u00dft, es darf nicht einen bestimmten Take geben, der immer wieder als unpassend heraussticht, wenn ein und der selbe Ton mehrmals hintereinander wiederholt wird. Jeder Take sollte daher jederzeit musikalisch passend sein und sich nicht so deutlich von anderen Takes unterscheiden, dass er als besonders wahrgenommen wird. Mit \u00fcber zehn Jahren Erfahrung mit dem Sampling von virtuellen Instrumenten, haben wir nat\u00fcrlich genau darauf ein gro\u00dfes Augenmerk gelegt.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>&#8220;Picked \/ Strummed&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>Bei Gitarren gibt es die Besonderheit, dass sich das Anschlagsverhalten und das Timbre \u00e4ndert, je nachdem ob man eine Einzelnote oder einen Akkord spielt. Versucht man nur aus aufgenommenen Einzelt\u00f6nen einen Akkord nachzubilden, wird es nie m\u00f6glich sein, den Klang eines vollst\u00e4ndig gespielten Akkords zu erreichen. Aus diesem Grund wurden f\u00fcr Shredolution alle m\u00f6glichen Spielweisen auf der Gitarre, die sowohl als Akkord als auch als Einzelnote spielbar sind, doppelt aufgenommen &#8211; &#8220;picked&#8221; und &#8220;strummed&#8221;!<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>&#8220;All Strings, Wholetone Sampling, 3 Pickups&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>Auf einer Gitarre ist es m\u00f6glich, den selben Ton (z.B. A#1) auf zwei verschiedenen Saiten zu spielen. Auf der E-Saite am sechsten Bund oder auf der A-Saite am ersten Bund. Obwohl es der selbe Ton ist, unterscheidet sich das Timbre zwischen E- und A-Saite deutlich. Aus diesem Grund haben wir f\u00fcr Shredolution alle B\u00fcnde auf allen Saiten in Ganzton-Abst\u00e4nden aufgenommen und das mit allen m\u00f6glichen
